How do I delete my workspace, and can I get it back?
Owner-only workspace deletion: what locks immediately, the 30-day recovery window, cancel deletion, and permanent purge.
1 min readUpdated
Only the workspace owner can delete a Rentrovia workspace. Open Settings → General, scroll to Danger zone, and choose Delete workspace. You must type your tenant slug exactly to confirm. Staff lose access immediately, the public website goes offline, and you keep a 30-day window to cancel before everything is permanently deleted.
What happens the moment you confirm
Rentrovia soft-deletes the workspace right away:
- Every staff member is signed out and cannot log back in.
- The public website stops resolving (visitors see it as gone).
- You, the owner, land on a full-screen Scheduled for deletion screen instead of the CRM.
This is not “delete my login only”. It covers CRM data, staff access, and the public site together.
How to cancel within 30 days
On the recovery screen, choose Cancel deletion. The workspace returns to active, staff can sign in again, and the public site comes back. You also get email confirmation when deletion is scheduled, plus a reminder about a week before the deadline.
After day 30
If you do not cancel, a purge job permanently deletes the workspace and its data. That cannot be undone from the product. Platform (superadmin) soft-deletes are separate — they do not use this 30-day owner recovery flow.
