Editing your website pages
Edit the homepage and static pages with sections, save drafts, and publish to your public site.
Updated
Edit your public website from the CMS app. Switch apps to CMS, then open Home page or Pages.
Home page vs Pages
The Home page is managed separately from other static pages. Use it for the homepage at /.
Pages holds About, Privacy, Terms, and any custom page. Each custom slug becomes /your-slug on the public site.
If no homepage record exists yet, choose Create homepage. Rentrovia creates a draft titled Home.
Creating a page
On Pages, choose New page. Enter a title. The slug is optional when you first create the page.
Open a page to edit. Five tabs control the page.
- Content — title, slug, summary.
- Sections — block builder. Recommended.
- Body — optional legacy rich text.
- Publishing — status, cover image, dates.
- SEO — meta title, meta description, and related fields.
Building with sections
Use Sections to add blocks. Common choices include Rich text, Vehicle showcase, Packages showcase, FAQ, Gallery, and Testimonials.
Drag blocks to reorder them. Each block has its own settings panel.
Homepage caveat
On the homepage, Hero and Call to action blocks are not offered. The visible hero comes from Public Site settings instead. See managing your public site and navigation.
Save, publish, and revisions
Choose Save to keep your work without going live. Choose Publish to set status to Published.
Use Revisions to restore an earlier saved version if you need to undo changes.
Before you showcase fleet or packages
Vehicle and package blocks pull from CRM data. Add categories and vehicles first. See adding a vehicle and your first week with Rentrovia.
For draft, scheduled, and published behaviour, see publishing pages and posts.
