Handling website inquiries

Find contact form and booking request messages from your public site and follow them up in CRM.

Updated

Your public website sends two kinds of message into CRM. Contact form submissions and booking requests follow different paths and statuses.

Contact form messages

In the CRM sidebar, open Contact Inquiries. The page title reads Page inquiries.

The description says these are messages from the public website contact page. Filter by status:

  • New
  • In review
  • Closed

Search by visitor name, email, phone, or subject. The search placeholder reads Search visitor, email, phone, subject...

Open a row to read the full message and update its status as you work through it.

An empty list shows No public inquiries yet.

Booking requests

Under Operations, open Booking Inquiries. These are booking requests from the public website.

The page description says you can convert one to prefill a new booking. Filter by status:

  • New
  • Reviewed
  • Converted
  • Dismissed
  • Cancelled

See how to create a booking for the booking flow after conversion.

Website users

Website users is separate from inquiries. It lists customer accounts registered on your public site.

The page tracks activity, internal notes, and tenant-specific access controls. It sits under the Website eyebrow in CRM, not under CMS.

Tuning the contact page

Edit contact page copy under CMS Public Site. Set Contact page intro and paste a map into Contact map iframe. Choose Save site.

Label mismatch to know

The sidebar says Contact Inquiries. The page header says Page inquiries. Both open the same list at /inquiries.

Access notes

Contact inquiries need customer read access. Booking inquiries need the booking inquiries module on your plan and booking read access.
