Vehicle limits and extra vehicles
How plan caps work, what happens at the limit, and how to move up a plan or request extra slots.

Each plan includes a vehicle allowance. Your effective limit is plan vehicles plus any extra slots granted on your account. Open Settings → Subscription and read the Vehicles panel to see used / limit, a progress bar, and a line like N included + M extra.
What the limit blocks
Only new vehicle creates are blocked at the cap. You can still edit vehicles you already have. If you downgrade to a smaller plan, existing vehicles stay in the fleet. You simply cannot add more until you are under the cap again.
When you try to add a vehicle at the limit, the API returns an error starting with Vehicle limit reached. It names your plan and total allowance. It may suggest moving to a larger plan or contacting support about extra slots.
Warnings before you hit the wall
- Subscription page — You've reached your vehicle limit. Move up a plan below, or contact us about extra vehicles — nothing you already have is affected.
- Dashboard alert — You've reached your vehicle limit with links to Move up a plan.
Moving up a plan
The workspace owner pays for a higher tier from Settings → Subscription via Khalti. See pay with Khalti. Plan cards list Up to N vehicles or Unlimited vehicles for Enterprise-style plans.
Checkout prices come from the live catalogue. Marketing pages quote example caps and extra-vehicle rates as fallback copy. Confirm limits on Subscription before you assume a number.
Extra vehicle slots
Some plans allow extra vehicles beyond the included count. Extra slots are not bought through Khalti checkout today. Support or your account manager grants them on your workspace. Each plan may also cap how many extras can be sold. Past that ceiling you must upgrade tier.
Plan checkout cards do not sell extras line by line. If you need more fleet room without changing tier, contact support with your current usage shown on Subscription.
Unlimited plans
Enterprise and some custom arrangements may show Unlimited on your plan. under Vehicles. A missing plan on legacy accounts can also behave as uncapped. Do not rely on that unless Subscription confirms it.
